Since it was Katie’s birthday we decided to treat ourselves and fly to Placencia as opposed to taking the bus. When we were flying back it was just the three of us in the plane and while we were ‘boarding’ the pilot asked me if I wanted to sit up front with him, and of course I said yes. After we took off he asked me if I wanted to fly it, he showed me the basics and I flew the plane for the rest of the flight (excluding the landing). It was so cool, Trisha said she were going to say something if he let me take over for the landing, but all in all I think I pulled 'er off! It is so beautiful up there flying over the ocean, Katie was on Manatee watch but came out negative, better luck next time!
