At our school there is a competition for the older girls called ‘Miss Sport’. Basically what it entails is a girl from each team or ‘house’ (like Harry Potter each student is in a house) and five girls compete for the title. It is like a mini-Miss America pageant, not really sure how I felt about the whole thing.
The talents varied from punta dancing to inspirational speeches. They had to answer some Belize/ Punta Gorda sports trivia. Luckily they didn’t put us on judge duty which was the original plan, Katie and I were tabulators and Trish took care of the highly respected ‘page picker-upper’ job.
