A couple weekends ago when we went to Snake Caye we were fortunate enough to meet some of the film crew shooting The Enemy God. Once we got talking and informed them that we are Drama majors (Trish and I), they invited us to help out with the makeup. Once we managed to get everything organized with them we went bright and early on Saturday morning to the set of The Enemy

God. It was so cool, I have never been of a movie set before and it was neat to see how everything runs behind the scenes. Since the film was about a Venezuela tribe we helped apply the tribal paint and dusted the actors making them all ‘dirty’. Trisha and I were shocked at how ordinary everything was, so similar to what we have seen in theatre, they even use the same products that we have seen. They seemed grateful that we could help and it was neat to talk to the local actors and get some information on them. At lunch I was fortunate to have a conversation with the director about his ambitions for the film and discussed some of his schooling and background. Such an interesting experience!
If you wanted to check out the film's website go to:

Hi Melissa,
Good thing the movie crew could use you for makeup. Have you ever worked on a movie set before?

Yeah it was my first time working on a movie set. It was really neat, but Trisha and I were saying that we were shocked at how ordinary it was, almost the exact same as theater. I guess film is kind of glamorized, not too sure what we were expecting. I have some more pics Bryce, I will e-mail them to you!
